Egyptian hero Ibrahim Abdel Aal, the "tank destroyer", passed away on Monday at the age of 70.
Abdel Aal participated in the 6th of October war between Egypt and Israel and he was able to destroy a large number of Israeli tanks in one day. Therefore, he was called the "Tank Destroyer" for his great achievements in the October war.
In a previous interview, the hero stated that he he joined the ranks of the Egyptian army following their defeat in June 5, 1967.
Then, he was trained in using the anti-tank missiles for a long time before participating in the October War, during which he was able to destroy around 18 tanks and two armored vehicles, according to reports.
