The Lion King
Perhaps the greatest and most iconic animated movie in our generation, the Lion King affected an entire generation. The Lion King isn't just and iconic Disney cartoon, it is perceived as one of the greatest movies of all time. The movie centers around Simba a lion, heir to his father's Mufasa's throne, dealing with the death of his father and fighting his evil uncle Scar for the Throne.
Frozen
Whether fans can agree with Frozen being on the list or not, the movie could perhaps be the Lion King of this generation. The movie received great box office success, in addition to debuting a top ranked song, "Let it Go". The movie centers around two Princesses Elsa and Anna, whose kingdom becomes trapped in perpetual winter. Anna joins forces with mountaineer Kristoff and his reindeer sidekick to find her sister and break her ice spell.
Beauty and The Beast
The movie has recently been adopted as a Live Action version starring Emma Watson, but the one I'm listing is the animated classic version of the story. The plot revolves around an arrogant prince who becomes cursed to live as a terrifying beast until he finds true love.
Aladdin
Perhaps the most comedic movie on the list. The plot revolves around a young man born in the streets,Aladdin, who frees a genie from a lamp. The Genie grants his wishes and turns him into a rich Sultan, who must face the evil Jafar over the control of the Lamp and the kingdom.
Tarzan
We conclude the list with Tarzan, The Alpha male human who was raised by Gorillas. Tarzan's story is unique in it's nature and was able to attract audiences worldwide and was very well received worldwide.
