Ali Farag, and Nouran Gohar won PSA El Gouna International Squash Tournament 2023, on Friday.
Farag captured the title after defeating Al Ahly's star Mostafa Asal, who is the winner of the 2022 edition, 3-1 in a 62-minute game.
This is the second time for Farag to capture the El Gouna title which led him to top the international ranking once again.
In addition, It is the second world championship in a row to be won by Farag. He won the tournament of Manchester International Squash Open 2023
In the same context, Nouran Gohar won the women's tournament after defeating Nele Gilis 3-1 in a 58-minute contest.
Gohar captured El Gouna title for the first time for her career and ended the reign of Nour El Sherbiny as No.1 on the list of the international ranking.
