Professional Squash Association announced that Egyptian squash star Nour Al Tayeb withdrew from the forthcoming British Open 2023 tournament. It is scheduled to take place between April 9 and 16.
28 Egyptian squash players will participate in the tournament in both sections: men and women.
For males, Ali Farag, Omar Mosaad, Mohamed El Sherbiny, Yehia Al Nawsany, Ali Abo El Enein, Tarek Mo'men, Mazen Hesham, Karim Abdel Gawad, Youssef Soliman, Marwan El Shorbagy, and Youssef Ibrahim will participate at the championship.
For women, Nouran Gohar, Nour El Sherbiny, Mariam Metwally, Nour Abu El Makarim, Frida Mohmed, Fyarouz Abou El Kheir, Hana Moataz, Yathreb Adel, Hana Ramadan, Zina Makwa, Sana Ibrahim, Nadin Shahin, Salma Hany, Hania El Hammammy, and Rawan El Araby.
El Hammammy, the second in the international ranking, is the title holder for women, while Paul Coll is the men's title holder.
