On Friday, Egyptian squash star Nour Al Tayeb qualified for the quarter-final of the Cleveland Classic Tournament.
Al Tayeb advanced to the final 8 round after defeating Sabrina Sobhy 3-1 in a 58-minute contest.
The tournament is taking place between February 1 and 6, and the prizes estimate at $75,000.
Five Egyptian women squash players participated in the tournament: Hana Ramadan, Maryam Metwali, Ziena Mekawi, and Nada Abbas, alongside Al Tayeb.
Early this week, PSA issued the ranking of January and it included the names of five Egyptian women squash stars.
Nouran Gohar came at the top of the list, followed by Nour El Sherbini in second place. The third place went to Hania El Hammamy.
Nour El Tayeb came sixth, and Rowan Elaraby came seventh.
