Nour El Sherbiny Advances to Hong Kong Open Final

The Egyptian squash star and the world's No. 1 Nour El Sherbiny advanced to the final of the prestigious Hong Kong Open tournament.

She defeated Olivia Weaver 3-0 in a 31-minute game after the American withdrew for injury in the second set.

With the arrival of El Sherbiny to the final, Egyptian ensured to see an Egyptian champion for the tournament women's title as El Sherbiny's opponent in the final will be the winner from Hania El Hammamy, and Nouran Gohar. 

PSA revealed the schedule of the Hong Kong Open Squash tournament. The tournament is taking place between December 2, and 8.

20 Egyptian squash stars are taking part in the competition in both divisions: men and women.

The Egyptian participants include the top-seeded world players like Ali Farag, Mostafa Asal, Tarek Mo'men, Karim Abdel Gawad, Nour El Sherbiny, Amina Orfi, Nouran Gohar, Hania El Hammamy, and Rawan El Arabi.

9 Egyptian male players are making their appearances during the tournament. They are: Farag, Mohamed Zakaria, Karim Abdel Gawad, Mazen Hesham, Mohamed El Sherbiny, Youssef Ibrahim, Tarek Mo'men, Fares El Dessouky, and Asal.

Moreover, 11 female Egyptian players are participating in the tournament. They are: El Sherbiny, Orfi, El Arabi, Fayrouz Abu El Khier, El Hammamy, Hana Ramadan, Malak Khafagy, Sana Ibrahim, Gohar, Zina Mekewi, and Nada Abbas.
