Danish club FC Nordsjælland have officially activated the purchase clause for Egypt international Ibrahim Adel, completing his permanent transfer from UAE side Al Jazira following an impressive loan spell that began in January.

The Egyptian winger has signed a three-year contract with the Danish club, owned by Egyptian businessman Mohamed Mansour, keeping him at the club until 2029 after all transfer procedures were finalized with Al Jazira.

Adel made a strong impact during his loan spell, featuring in 10 matches, scoring two goals and providing one assist, which convinced the club to secure his long-term services.

The player is now expected to join the Egypt national team camp in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Egypt are set to play friendly matches against Russia and Brazil ahead of the tournament, with Adel considered an important attacking option for head coach Hossam Hassan.
