No More Morning Queue in Cairo's Schools

The Cairo governorate decided to abolish the morning queue, provided that supervision of teachers be distributed on the courtyard and stairs so that students would organize while climbing the stairs until entering the classes, with the obligation to have more than one break per school day.

All school personnel will be required to wear a mask. It is forbidden for any teacher to enter the classroom without it. Water, soap, and alcohol will be available in all areas of the school.

Mohamed Attia, Director of the Education Directorate in Cairo, held a meeting with the general directors and agents of educational departments “Online” via the Internet, in the presence of the technical office and the directorate leaders.

The meeting discussed the instructions of the governor of Cairo a week after the start of the study, as a number of procedures were stressed and followed closely in view of the current circumstances.

The Director-General of General Education confirmed the start of follow-up on Sunday morning before the students enter the school so that he makes sure that the preventive and precautionary measures are available by the school, the availability of alcohol and disinfectants, and the wearing of masks for the workers and the application of pergence measures.
