The famous food blogger Aliaa Hassan gave "See" her granola bites recipe while saying:
"I love these small energy bites, they are easy to make with just a few pantry stables as ingredients. They are super easy to mix & roll into little balls. This recipe is really flexible with the ingredients so, you can add whatever you have be it dried fruits, nuts, chocolate chips, shredded coconut or roasted sesame seeds. It is also great for your kids to enjoy it as a midday snack."
Ingredients:
1 cup of oatmeal
1/2 cup of shredded coconut
1/4 cup of white sesame seeds
1/4 of wheat germ
1/4 of flaxseed
1/2 cup of dried diced dates
1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup of honey
A pinch of salt
Directions:
In a medium size pan add oatmeal & give it a quick toast for about 3 to 5 minutes over a low-medium heat. Add flaxseed, wheat germ, shredded coconut, seasme seeds & stir all of these ingredients for about 3 minutes or until it smells a nutty.
Pour your dry ingredients into a bowl and add the salt, the honey before stirring them together.
Let them cool down before adding the dates & chocolate (you don't want the chocolate to melt)
fold in the chocolate, dates & start to roll into mini bites.
Keep them cool in a glass container and you can freeze them up to three months.
