Hassan has shared with “SeeNews” what exactly the public needs to make her 3 ingredient delicious cookies.

“Three main ingredients can make such delicious shortbread cookies. One does not need to add a lot of flavors to the dough, just keep it simple and all you are looking for is just "good quality butter", those flaky buttery bites can be dipped into your favorite chocolate sauce,” Hassan said.

“A secret ingredient which I see as a "must" is drizzling a pinch of salt on top of your cookies after dipping it into the sauce while your chocolate is still soft. That small amount of salt takes your cookies to another level,” she added.

Ingredients:

2 cups of all-purpose flour.

1 cup of room temperature butter.

1/2 a cup of powder sugar.

1/2 tsp of vanilla.

A pinch of salt.

Directions

Add butter and sugar together into a bowl or electric mixer, and mix them until they turn to a light-yellow color, then add vanilla and keep mixing.

Sift the flour and salt together, then add them slowly to the mixture and keep on kneading the dough for another couple of minutes by hand or wooden spoon.

You have to put the dough in the fridge to get rest for about 30 minutes. It is necessary to work while the dough is still cold, or it is going to stick to your working surface.

Flour the working surface and roll out your dough to 1/2 cm thickness, cut it with cookie cutters, and put them in a baking sheet.

Bake the shortbread cookies in 180 degrees C for around 12 to 15 minutes until they take a beautiful golden color.

Let the cookies cool before dipping them in chocolate sauce. Put the cookies in plastic containers and keep them fresh for a whole week. Enjoy and do not forget to share it with your beloved.
