NJPW's G1 Climax 34 to Kick off Tomorrow

Tomorrow, New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) will organize its annual and highly anticipated tournament, G1 Climax. 

G1 Climax is an annual tournament organized by NJPW and features the majority of its top heavyweight stars. The participants are divided into 2 blocks, and the participants should collect the most number of points to top the block.

The top player of each block will face each other in the final of the tournament, and the winner gets the chance to face the IWGP Heavyweight Champion at NJPW's most prestigious and biggest annual event Wrestle Kingdom.

The 34th edition of the tournament will witness the G1 Climax debut of NOAH's Jake Lee and AEW/DDT's Konosuke Takeshita.

Lee most recently came up short escalating against Tetsuya Naito on All Together Sapporo event. Both will be in the same block this year. 

Regarding the participants of Block A are: Tetsuya Naito, Shota Umino, SANADA, Shingo Takagi, Great-O-Khan, Zack Sabre Jr, EVIL, Gabe Kidd, Jake Lee (Pro Wrestling NOAH), and Callum Newman.

While Group B consists of Hirooki Goto, El Phantasmo, Jeff Cobb, Yota Tsuji, David Finlay, HENARE, Ren Narita, Yuya Uemura, Konosuke Takeshita (AEW/DDT), and Oleg Boltin.

The events of this edition of the tournament will conclude on August 18.
