NJPW Sakura Genesis: Sanada Crowned as New IWGP World Heavyweight Champion

New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) organized one of its biggest events of the year, Sakura Genesis.

The event witnessed a number of strong contests, in addition, a new IWGP World Heavyweight Champion was crowned

6-Man Tag Team Match: Bullet Club's David Finlay, El Phantasmo & Kenta defeated Guerrillas of Destiny's Tama Tonga & Hikuleo & Master Wato 

Three-way match for the IWGP Women's Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) defeated AZM, and Hazuki by pinfall  

NJPW World Television Championship: Zack Sabre Jr. (c) defeated Shota Umino 

IWGP Tag Team Titles: Aussie Open defeated Bishamon  (c) 

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship: Hiromu Takahashi (c) defeated Robbie Eagles
