Egypt's weightlifting team player Nima Said won 3 gold medals, in the -71 kg category, at the African Championship.
The tournament was held in Tunisia and is one of the qualifying tournaments for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Nima won the gold medal after lifting 103 kg, one kilogram ahead of the Nigerian champion, and won the gold medal in jerk and klein, after lifting 126 kg, to win a third gold medal in the total competition.
Nima Said is one of the most important players in Egypt and Africa, and one of the candidates to stand on the podiums of the Paris 2024 Olympics, as she is the African champion and the world champion at the level of young women and women.
Egypt is participating in the African Championship with 11 players: Karim Kahla, Islam Abu Al-Wafa, Yasser Osama, Mahmoud Hosni, Mohamed Selim, Abdel Rahman Mohamed, Sarah Samir, Nima Saeed, Samar Habashi, Fatima Sadiq and Halima Abdel Azim
