Neymar's private jet made an emergency landing in the middle of the night in Boa Vista, a city in northern Brazil.
Coming from Miami, the plane had to land in Boa Vista instead of continuing to Sao Paulo, to avoid a "low pressure issue" after a "windshield problem", the daily O Globo said.
"Everything is fine, it was just a scare" Neymar said on Instagram to his fans.
The Brazilian striker was traveling with his girlfriend Bruna Biancardi, sister Rafaela and a number of other relatives, after a disappointing season with Paris Saint-Germain.
"Thank you everyone for the messages, but everything is fine, we are going home, it was just a bullshit," the soccer star said on Instagram video.
