International media outlets devoted extensive space to Pyramids' winning the African Super Cup for the first time in their history, following a 1-0 victory over Morocco's Renaissance Berkane at the Air Defense Stadium.

CNN headlined, "For the first time in their history... Pyramids wins the African Super Cup." The network stated that Pyramids continued their continental trophy haul by winning the African Super Cup after defeating Renaissance Berkane. It noted that the Sky Blues won their third international title in just a few months, having won the CAF Champions League against South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns and the FIFA Confederations Cup against Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli.

The international network "Flashscore" headlined, "Maele is the hero in Pyramids' victory over Berkane in Cairo and their winning the CAF Super Cup." The network stated that the Congolese striker, who converted to Islam, played a key role in Pyramids' winning their first CAF Super Cup title, scoring the winning goal with a powerful low shot that passed RS Berkane goalkeeper Munir El-Mohammadi.

The network added that Mayele also played a significant role in Pyramids' winning their first CAF Champions League title a few months ago, scoring nine goals in the tournament. It noted that Pyramids became the third Egyptian club to win the CAF Super Cup, after Al Ahly and Zamalek.

The Emirati newspaper "Al-Ittihad" headlined, "Pyramids... King of Africa," and stated that Pyramids succeeded in taking revenge on RS Berkane, who they had previously beaten 1-0 in the CAF Confederation Cup final five years ago. The Sky Blues team achieved their fourth title, and Pyramids became the third Egyptian team to win the CAF Super Cup.

On the other hand, Moroccan media lamented RS Berkane's defeat to Pyramids FC, dashing their hopes of winning the title for the second time in their history. The headline read, "Morocco loses the African Super Cup for the ninth time."

The media also stated, "RS Berkane lost the African Super Cup for the second time in their history to an Egyptian team, after losing to Al Ahly in 2021 in the match that brought them together in the Qatari capital, Doha." They noted that Wydad Casablanca is the Moroccan club with the most Super Cup losses, having lost it three times.

The "Al-Botola" website highlighted the news of Pyramids FC's victory with the headline, "Pyramids defeats RS Berkane (1-0) and wins the African Super Cup for the first time in their history." Le360 Sport, meanwhile, claimed that the Egyptian team defeated RS Berkane with a Congolese goal by Feston Mayele, noting that the goal gave Pyramids the trophy.
