New Zealand has announced its intention to ban the Chinese-owned TikTok app from parliamentarians.
Officials told AFP on Friday that New Zealand would ban the app due to security concerns about the platform.
The CEO of the Parliamentary Service Rafael Gonzalez Montero explained that “TikTok” will be blocked on all devices that have access to the parliamentary network.
He indicated that the decision will enter into force on March 31.
