“The King” Mohamed Mounir will perform live at the Jewel Sports City, in Nasr City, Cairo, on Friday, December 30.
He is set to present several of his popular and latest songs.
The concert ticket prices as follows: the regular ticket price is selling for EGP 307, the fan pit ticket is selling for EGP 557, the VIP high tables ticket is selling for EGP 757, and the VIP lounges ticket price is sold for EGP 1007.
On the other hand, the acclaimed singer is working on a new song entitled, "Saluga".
It is by the lyrics of Amir Teima and composed by Amr Mostafa.
"Saluga" was filmed as a music video and is set to be released as a part of the New Year's celebrations.
Mounir, born on October 10, 1954, is one of the Middle East’s best singers.
He released his 1977 debut solo album, “Alemony Eneeki” on the Sonar record label, after completing his military service.
The superstar has released over 22 albums and six soundtrack albums.
Mounir, whose musical career spanned over three decades, presented various genres in his music, such as classical Egyptian Music, Nubian music, blues, jazz, and reggae.
The superstar’s lyrics are quite famous for their philosophical content as well as for their passionate social and political commentary.
