Sony Pictures released Monday new characters posters for the highly-anticipated movie “Venom: Let There Be Carnage”, which is arriving in less than two weeks.
The posters featured Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady, Naomie Harris as Frances Barrison/Shriek, and Michele Williams as Anne Weying/She-Venom.
“Venom: Let There Be Carnage”, the sequel to 2018’s “Venom“, follows the origins of the movie’s villain Kasady (Harrelson), who plays host for the symbiote Carnage.
Carnage was introduced in a post-credits sequence at the end of the original Venom movie.
It also featured the appearance of Cletus’ love interest Shriek, played by Harris.
Andy Serkis directed the follow-up from a screenplay by Kelly Marcel and a story by Marcel and Hardy.
The Columbia Pictures movie, in association with Marvel and Tencent Pictures, also stars Reid Scott and Stephen Graham. It is produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker.
The sequel was originally scheduled to be released in October 2020 but was postponed several times due to the coronavirus pandemic, most recently getting pushed back one week from Sept. 17 to Sept. 24.
“Venom: Let There Be Carnage” is set to release on Sept. 24, 2021.
