A new documentary about Barbadian singer Rihanna is in the works.

She is set to document her musical journey and return to the stage in an upcoming Apple TV Plus documentary.

The "What’s My Name" hitmaker and her rapper partner ASAP Rocky – real name Rakim Athelaston Mayers – welcomed their first child together earlier this year.

Rihanna recently released first her music in six years, an emotional tribute to late actor Chadwick Boseman.

The track titled, "Lift Me Up", is featured on the soundtrack of Marvel's movie "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever", the highly-anticipated sequel to the Oscar-winning blockbuster “Black Panther”

The Fenty Beauty founder’s fans have been patiently waiting for a follow-up to her 2016 album "Anti", her eighth studio album.

While the singer, born Robyn Fenty, has featured on songs "Lemon" and "Believe it" in recent years, "Lift Me Up" is her first solo release since "Anti".

They will also see her present a mega performance at next year’s Super Bowl halftime show.

"Rihanna is a massive force to be reckoned with when it comes to music and so Apple has paid million," a source shared in a statement.

"The Super Bowl is one of, if not the, biggest stages in the world, so her show was always going to be huge. Add on top of that it’s a live comeback and the pressure is immense. She is keen for the world to remember why she is one of the greatest performers of all time," the insider added to The Sun.
