New Giza Club delivered a strong performance today, defeating Maamoura Youth Center 2-1 in a tightly contested match that was only decided in the final minutes.
New Giza started the game with high-intensity pressing across the pitch, resulting in two first-half goals scored by captain Khaled Bardaei and Mohamed Dardiri.
In the second half, Maamoura fought back with a goal but were unable to equalize due to New Giza’s solid defense and the outstanding performance of their goalkeeper.
Head coach Yasser El-Khatib and assistant coach Ahmed Osman expressed their satisfaction with the team’s continued success, praising the players' fighting spirit and commitment.
This victory marks the third consecutive positive result for New Giza, pushing the team to mid-table. The team now looks forward to a challenging match next week against league leaders Wadi Degla.
