Lebanese recording artist, Nancy Ajram has been living a hectic period after her husband, Dr. Fadi El-Hachem, killed an armed trespasser named Mohamed Hassan Al Moussa.

Al Moussa attempted to invade their villa in Sehaileh, Keserwan District, on January 5.

The singer's husband was charged with “intentional murder”, after shooting a man who he claimed was armed when he broke into their home and threatened the family.

He was initially detained by authorities but later released after reviewing the surveillance cameras and evidence, confirming that what the latter had done was a legitimate act of self-defense.

Dr. El-Hachem, after that, was taken to Al-Hayat Hospital for treatment amid concerns for his mental health after the fatal shooting of a 30-year-old robber.

Ajram sustained a minor injury in her right leg, but the other family members were safe.

A number of newspapers and websites claimed that the singer's husband has been arrested after the investigation found him guilty of manipulating the break-in footage, which went viral on social media platforms, showing the attacker pointing his gun and shooting at him.

Then the footage cut to the assailant making his way to one of the rooms in the house only to be met with the doctor, who was chasing Al Moussa before shooting him.

The Lebanese MTV satellite channel revealed what has happened inside Nancy’s house- the intruder was holding one of Ajram’s handbags, asking for money. The doctor complied, giving him cash from his jacket, but then Al Moussa asked: “Where is the gold? Don’t make me hurt you. Call your wife.”

A week ago, Rehab Bitar, the lawyer representing the deceased and his family stated that the medical examiner committee has finished re-examining Al Moussa’s dead body.

However, the case have witnessed new developments that may change the course of investigations.

Lawyer Rami Hindi, another member of the defense team that is representing the deceased, stated in a press statement that the new forensic report indicates that there were a number of bullets that was not mentioned in the first investigation.

He also revealed that five bullets were removed from the body of the deceased, which was not previously disclosed, in addition to a sixth shot in the head, in which points to the possibility that Al Moussa was killed from a shot in the back, which was not mentioned in the first forensic report.

The new report also shows the discovery of a disjointed bullet, meaning that there were two kinds of weapons used.

A Syrian doctor named Bahaa, who participated in the new autopsy of Al Moussa’s body, revealed that blue spots were found on his body, which confirms that it remained on his stomach for over two hours, while the photos at the time of the accident showed that the body lying on his side.

He explained that the blue spots begin to appear on the body of the deceased after his vital signs had stopped, which means that these signs appear on the opposite side of the place where the body was lying.

The Syrian doctor confirmed that the blue marks take two or three hours to appear from the time of death; he also indicated that the deceased remained lying on his stomach for this period, which confirms that the photo in which the dead man appeared on his right side is fake, because if he died and was lying on his right side, the patches would have appeared on his left side.
