Netflix’s "Money Heist" Final Season Split in Two Parts

The fifth and final season of Netflix’s most popular non-English language original series “La Casa de Papel” (Money Heist) is split into two parts.

The first volume of the series will premiere worldwide on September 3, while the second will screen three months later on December 3 with each part consists of five episodes, filling out a ten-hour arc to end the series’ story as told by its narrator and protagonist Tokyo.

The steamer announced the news on Twitter along with an intense, slow-motion teaser to accompany the announcement.

“Money Heist” season five features an astonishing cast of Spanish stars returning for the series including Úrsula Coberó, Álvaro Morte, Itziar Ituño, Pedro Alonso, Miguel Herrán, Jaime Lorente, Esther Acebo, Enrique Arce, Darko Peric, Hovik Keuchkerian, Luka Peros, Belén Cuesta, Fernando Cayo, Rodrigo de la Serna, Najwa Nimri, and José Manuel Poga.

The series will also feature Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Spanish Academy Award-nominee Patrick Criado.

Season 4  saw the Professor standing with Alicia Sierra’s gun pointed at him after discovering his hideout.

The series is created by Álex Pina and traces two long-prepared heists led by the Professor (Morte), one on the Royal Mint of Spain, and one on the Bank of Spain.
