The series shooting begin in November, which marks Netflix’s first Egyptian series and its third Middle East original series following “Jinn”, and “Al Rawabi School for Girls”.

It is based on horror/thriller novels “Ma Waraa Al Tabiaa” by Ahmed Khaled Tawfik, late renowned Egyptian novelist, known for his contributions to Arab horror, which has sold more than 15 million copies.

The plot revolves around the adventures of Ismail, a hematologist, who narrates how he confronted a series of supernatural events that he was exposed to in the 1960s in Egypt.

Ismail narrates his adventures starting when he was in his late 30s, despite all of the events are supernatural-related events, however, some are caused by culprits who are faking the events.

He usually solves the mystery, while accompanied by many friends and inpiduals, some events are more centered around them than him, and even so, some are narrated by them.

Najm’s casting had sparked controversy on social media as many people cast their doubts over his ability to play the role.

It is reported that the series will be presented in a six 60-Minutes episode.
