Netflix dropped on Monday the official trailer for TV series “Abla Fahita: Drama Queen“, which will premiere on March 15.
The footage featured famed puppet Abla Fahita going on the run after being implicated in a crime and the measures she takes to clear her name and return to her two children, Caro and Boudi.
The highly-anticipated show will consist of six episodes and distributed in more than 20 languages across 190 countries around the globe.
It is a Netflix Arabic original series that marks the puppet’s first foray into the drama world.
The series also stars Bassem Samra, Donia Maher and Osama Abdalla. It is directed by Khaled Marei and written by Abla Fahita.
The production of the series kicked off in early August 2020 in various locations in Cairo, amid health and safety measures. It wrapped filming in mid-October.
