Nelly Receives Lifetime Achievement Award at 43rd CIFF (Video)

Iconic actress and performer Nelly received the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ at the 43rd Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) that kicked off Friday night.

Legendary actor Samir Sabry granted the award to the gorgeous actress, asserting that he is extremely happy to be the one who introduce this special award to the beautiful lady.

On her part, Nelly expressed her great happiness to receive the award, saying that she is so thrilled to be honored by CIFF. The award was to honor the actress for her massively popular career as one of the most recognizable Egyptian celebrities from the 1970s to the 1990s.

The actress has starred in around 118 different projects, ranging from cinema, theatre, and television.

Born in 1949 in an artistic family, Nelly started her career early at the age of four, playing ‘Mona’ in the movie ‘Deprivation’ beside Imad Hamdi. She quickly became a favorite talent, appearing in ‘Birds of Paradise, ‘Mercy of Heaven’, ‘Repentance’, and ‘Until We Meet’, and so many more.
