Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appeared in a video clip making a gossip about U.S. President Donald Trump's behavior, describing how surprising the face of US President 's team was at a news conference.

At a reception at Buckingham Palace on Thursday evening,Trudeau, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte were videotaped along with French President Emmanuel Macron and Princess Anne, the daughter of Queen Elizabeth II of Britain.

In footage recorded during their gossip,  Johnson asked Macron, "Is that why you were late?" Trudeau could be heard saying "he was late because he takes a 40-minute press conference off the top." That appeared to be a reference to Trump's long and unscheduled question-and-answer session with journalists earlier Tuesday.

Trudeau also said: "You just watched his team's jaws drop to the floor."

Trump wasn't mentioned by name during the exchange.

Trump spoke earlier on Wednesday of issues including NATO and North Korea, trade and accountability at two sessions to answer reporters' questions with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg and then with French President Macron.

NATO leaders are meeting Wednesday in Watford, outside London, to mark the 70th anniversary of the military alliance — and to try to bridge differences over defense spending, the alliance's strategic direction and member nation Turkey's military action in northern Syria.
