NASA launched a spacecraft on a test mission, which aims at changing the route of asteroids, according to the global media on Wednesday.
Reuters mentioned that it was launched late yesterday, on Tuesday to test the first planetary defense in the world, which aims to change any asteroid’s route that might collide with the Earth.

The spacecraft (DART) was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base, about 240 kilometers northwest of Los Angeles. It has a falcon 9 rocket in its board that was manufactured by SpaceX.
NASA Television broadcasted the launch process live.
