Napoli continue their quest for a seventh Coppa Italia title when they welcome Como to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Tuesday night in the third quarter-final of the competition.

The southern Italian side are aiming to end a six-year wait for the trophy and enter the quarter-finals full of confidence, having avoided defeat in domestic competitions for more than a year.

Napoli joined the Coppa Italia at the Round of 16 stage following their early exit from the UEFA Champions League.

Their path to the quarter-finals was far from straightforward, as they edged past Cagliari on penalties after a dramatic 1-1 draw in regular time.

Goalkeeper Vanja Milinković-Savić played a decisive role, converting one of the spot-kicks himself in the 9-8 shootout victory.

Head coach Antonio Conte is targeting a clean sweep of domestic trophies this season, after guiding the club to the Serie A title and the Italian Super Cup last year.

Napoli currently sit third in the league table, despite facing increased pressure from AC Milan and Inter, and are looking to build momentum following narrow wins over Fiorentina and Genoa.

Como, meanwhile, arrive in Naples chasing a historic achievement in what has been their most successful season to date.

The Lombardy-based club progressed past early rounds by defeating Südtirol and Sassuolo and are dreaming of lifting the Coppa Italia for the first time in their history, alongside securing a strong Serie A finish.

Under the guidance of Cesc Fàbregas, Como have impressed in attack, scoring 12 goals during a run of three consecutive victories before suffering a setback in an entertaining defeat to Atalanta.
