Napoli were crowned champions of the Italian Super Cup 2025 after a convincing 2–0 victory over Bologna in the final, played on Monday evening at Al-Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This edition marked the sixth time the Kingdom has hosted the competition.
Brazilian winger David Neres was the star of the night, scoring both goals for Napoli in the 39th and 57th minutes to secure the trophy and give the club a perfect start to 2025.
Napoli had reached the final after defeating AC Milan 2–0 in the semifinals, while Bologna advanced by overcoming Inter Milan on penalties (3–2) following a 1–1 draw after extra time.
This triumph represents Napoli’s third Italian Super Cup title, further highlighting the team’s success under head coach Antonio Conte.
Bologna, meanwhile, had to settle for a runners-up finish in their first-ever appearance in the Super Cup final.
