On Saturday, Rafael Nadal avenged his last week's defeat to Alex de Minaur in Barcelona Tennis Open with a 7-6 (8/6), 6-3 victory over the Australian in Madrid Tennis Open.
Nadal's farewell tour witnessed two games against De Minaur in a few days. But, this time the the 22-time Grand Slam champion advanced to a third-round of the Madrid Open after defeating Minaur.
Rafa is set to meet with Argentina's Pedro Cachin in the next round.
Various iconic figures attended the game, mainly the King of Spain, Felipe VI, French football icon Zinedine Zidane, and Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior.
Five-time Madrid champion said that he will not make a decision on playing at the Roland-Garros until after Rome which starts next week.
