North Korea's Central News Agency said South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol's visit to the US and his talks with President Joe Biden constitute an aggressive provocation to provoke a nuclear war.
According to the agency, the South Korean’s president visit came up with a despicable plan to destroy Pyongyang, “which is the most provocative, hostile and aggressive visit, a journey to ignite a very dangerous nuclear war."
It added that establishing a nuclear advisory group to actively engage customers in discussing the use of all nuclear forces, increasing the frequency of US strategic nuclear submarines near the Korean Peninsula, and strengthening the expanded deterrence force by intensifying joint military exercises, “made it clear to everyone that the United States and the agents consider waging a nuclear war against us a fait accompli."
Earlier, Kim Yo-jong, the head of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the sister of the country's leader, condemned the Yoon’s visit to the United States.
She described Biden as an "old man without a future," and the “Washington Declaration” signed after the talks represented a threat to peace and security in Northeast Asia.
It is noteworthy that, following a meeting between Biden and Yoon, a declaration was signed, according to which a bilateral advisory group on nuclear planning issues regarding the threats posed by North Korea will be established.
The new mechanism will allow Seoul to understand how Washington handles "important contingency planning."
