Special counsel Robert Mueller released a report on his inquiry into Russian interference in the 2016 election. The report said that Muller found no criminal conspiracy between Trump's campaign and Russia. The special counsel delivered his report to Attorney General William P. Barr.

Last month, after the conclusion of the investigation, Barr released a summary of the report, but lawmakers have called upon the complete version to be released.

"Mueller abided by Justice Department guidelines that a sitting president can't be indicted, but in preparing the detailed 448-page report, the long-time law enforcement official has teed up an investigation into an obstruction that could outlive President Donald Trump's time in the White House and his temporary immunity," according to CNN.

The key lines Of Mueller's report

Mueller's report concludes that the Trump campaign did not conspire or coordinate with the Russian government in the election interference activities. "The investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome and that the campaign expected it would benefit electorally from information stolen and released through Russian efforts," the report said.

The special counsel also said that Trump asked campaign aides to find Hillary Clinton's emails."Michael Flynn -- who would later serve as a national security adviser in the Trump Administration -- recalled that Trump made the request repeatedly, and Flynn subsequently contacted multiple people in an effort to obtain the emails," the report added. Muller's report noted that Trump privately and repeatedly asked inpiduals affiliated with his campaign to find the deleted Clinton emails.

It also added, "While this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him."

Muller also said that Trump's efforts to obstruct the investigation were not successful because his aids and advisers refused to carry out the president's order, and here's the relevant line: "The President's efforts to influence the investigation were mostly unsuccessful, but that is largely because the persons who surrounded the President declined to carry out orders or accede to his requests."

Muller added that he provided Trump with written questions, but the president's answer was not adequate. The report said," We noted, among other things, that the president stated on more than 30 occasions that he 'does not 'recall' or ' remember' or have an ' independent recollection'' of information called for by the questions. Other answers were 'incomplete or imprecise,'" adding,  "The written responses, we informed counsel, 'demonstrate the inadequacy of the written format, as we have had no opportunity to ask follow-up questions that would ensure complete answers and potentially refresh your client's recollection or clarify the extent or nature of his lack of recollection."

In his response to the report, Trump said Mueller's report found that there was no collusion. As I have been saying all along, NO COLLUSION - NO OBSTRUCTION," Trump tweeted.
