Pitso Mosimane, Ahly Jeddah Coach, revealed, Wednesday, that he received an official proposal from Al Zamalek, but he declined the offer, the South African coach said in an interview with Bein Sports.
He said that he declined the proposal of Al Zamalek because the timing was not right for him.
Mosimane expressed that he wished to continue his ways with Al Ahly in 2022.
He achieved 2 CAF Champions League titles, 1 Egypt Cup tournament, and 2 African Super Cup competitions.
Regarding his contract with Ahly Jeddah, he highlighted that his contract could be renewed for an extra season, however, the club didn't contact him for the renewal.
Finally, he commented on the rejection of Ahly Jeddah players to avoid celebrating their qualification for the Saudi Pro League.
The coach was informed that the administration of the club asked the players not to celebrate with the title and qualification.
