An anonymous bomb threat coming from Ukraine has caused the evacuation of Kievsky railway station in Moscow, the emergency services told TASS.
"A message came from an unidentified person that there is a risk of explosion at Kievsky railway station. In this regard, it was decided to evacuate the station for security reasons," the spokesperson said.
He said that the message came from the territory of Ukraine, according to preliminary information.
"At the moment, the building of the station and its premises are being searched for explosive objects and explosive substances," the spokesperson said.
Earlier on Wednesday, Moscow Railway wrote on its Telegram channel that entrance to Kievsky railway station was temporarily barred at the request of the police and that the passengers were evacuated. The Moscow Railway said train traffic is not affected.
