The Moroccan national team secured a 3-1 win against Comoros in their opening match of the 2025 Arab Cup, held at Khalifa International Stadium. The match was part of the first round of Group B, which also includes Saudi Arabia and Oman.
Morocco took the lead through Soufiane Bouftini in the 5th minute, followed by Tarik Tissoudali's goal in the 11th minute. Karim El Berkaoui added a third goal in the fourth minute of first-half stoppage time (45+4), giving Morocco a comfortable 3-0 lead at halftime.
In the second half, Moroccan defender Mohamed Boulksout scored an own goal in the 56th minute.
The Moroccan substitutes included Walid El Karti (Pyramids FC), Mahmoud Bentayj (Zamalek), and Walid Azaro (formerly of Al Ahly).
