Morocco’s second national team clinched the 2025 Arab Cup title after a dramatic 3–2 victory over Jordan in the final held at Lusail Stadium in Qatar.
Morocco opened the scoring early in the match, as Osama Tannane found the net in the 4th minute, giving the Atlas Lions a 1–0 lead at halftime.
Jordan responded strongly in the second half. Ali Olwan scored twice, netting the equalizer in the 48th minute before converting a penalty kick in the 68th minute to put Jordan ahead 2–1.
However, Moroccan striker Abdelrazak Hamdallah brought his team back into the game with a crucial equalizer in the 85th minute, sending the match into extra time after a 2–2 draw in regulation.
In the first period of extra time, Hamdallah struck again, scoring Morocco’s third goal in the 100th minute to seal a 3–2 victory and confirm Morocco’s crowning as Arab Cup champions.
