The Royal Air Moroccan  Company has decided to suspend all flights to and from Morocco, in both directions, as of today, Monday until December 13th.

The Moroccan company stated that it  is committed to accompanying its customers during this period by allowing the change and refund of tickets to and from Morocco according to the following options for any ticket with travel date from November 30, 2021, to December 13, 2021."

The company indicated, on its official account on the “Twitter” website,  that it is allowed to change the ticket without a fine with the possibility of applying the price difference, for a new travel date until January 31, 2022, from or to the same destination or another airport in the Royal Air Maroc network.

Customers can obtain a travel voucher in the name of the traveler, which is non-transferable, valid for 12 months from the date of issue, and this voucher is redeemable for cash at the end of its validity if it has not been used, at the request of the traveler within 3 months after its expiry.

The Moroccan Ministerial Committee for Corona Tracking stated that this decision comes as a result of the rapid spread of the new mutant of the Coronavirus, “Omicron”, especially in Europe and Africa, and in order to “preserve the gains that Morocco has accumulated in the field of fighting the pandemic and protecting the health of citizens.”

The committee added that "the situation will be evaluated on a regular basis in order to amend the necessary measures when needed."
