Moreno Signs Villarreal 5-Year Contract

Villarreal have officially announced on Tuesday the signing of Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno on a free transfer. The 27-year old player has signed a five-year contract with the Spanish club.

The former Red defender spent five seasons with the English side at Anfield. He signed to Liverpool in 2014 as he moved from Sevilla FC. The Spanish played 141 games with the Red.

Moreno has participated in Liverpool's game against Tottenham in the UEFA Champions League final held in Madrid as he managed to lift the title.

It is worth mentioning Villarreal finished 14 in the last season of La Liga with only 44 points.
