Mona Zaki’s “Lam El Samasya” to Begin Production in October

Egyptian actress Mona Zaki‘s new TV series “Lam El Samasya” is slated to begin production in October.

The series was initially set to screen in Ramadan 2022 drama marathon but was pushed back to Ramadan 2023 following a number of the series’ cast being infected with the coronavirus, which led to the repeated postponement of the start of filming.

The series features a star-studded ensemble cast that also includes Nardine Farag, Esaad Younis, Eyad Nassar, Ahmed Rizk, Rakeen Saad, and others.

Director Karim El Shenawy will helm the series from a script penned by prominent screenwriter Mariam Naoum.

Zaki was last seen in the film “The Spider” (El-Ankaboot).

“The Spider” also stars Ahmed El Sakka, Dhafer El Abidine, Yosra El Lozy, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Reem Mustafa, Akram El-Sharkawy, Mahmoud Gharib, Ramez Amir, Zaki Fateen Abdel Wahab, Mohamed Lotfy, and others.

It is directed by Ahmed Nader Galal, written by Muhammad Nair, and produced by Walid Sabry.
