The International Canoe and Kayak Federation announced the selection of Egyptian Mona Mahmoud to referee at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Mona became the first Egyptian referee and a woman to participate in the largest and most powerful sports forum, the Olympic Games.
Mona Mahmoud participated last August in arbitration in the World Championship qualifying for the Paris Olympics, which was hosted by Germany, and Mona was the first referee in the history of the Egyptian Canoe and Kayak Federation to participate in arbitration competitions World Olympic Qualifying Championship as well.
Egypt's canoe and kayak team will participate in the African qualifiers for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, which are scheduled to be held in Nigeria from 23 to 27 November .
