UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan confirmed on Thursday that he held fruitful discussions with his US counterpart, Donald Trump, in Abu Dhabi.
The Emirates News Agency quoted the UAE President's remarks, which said: "I held fruitful discussions in Abu Dhabi with His Excellency President Donald Trump, focusing on strengthening the UAE-US partnership for the future, particularly in the fields of advanced technology and artificial intelligence."
Trump arrived in Abu Dhabi on Thursday afternoon for a state visit to the UAE.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was at the forefront of those welcoming the US President and his accompanying delegation upon their arrival at the presidential airport.
