Ramy Abbas Issa, the agent of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, sparked controversy surrounding the future of the Egyptian national team captain after confirming that Salah's destination next season remains unknown.
The player's agent wrote on his official X account: "We don't know where Mohamed will play next season, and that also means that nobody knows... Beware of those seeking attention with misleading headlines," in a clear message denying all the speculation circulating about the future of the Egyptian captain.
This comes after Mohamed Salah officially announced his departure from Liverpool at the end of the current season, after a nine-year career at Anfield, during which he achieved numerous historic milestones.
Salah is considered one of Liverpool’s greatest players in its history, since joining the team from Roma in 2017, where he led the team to achieve several prominent championships, most notably the English Premier League in the 2019-2020 season, the Champions League title in 2018-2019, in addition to the Club World Cup and the European Super Cup, as well as winning the FA Cup, the League Cup twice and the Community Shield.
