Mamdouh was last seen in the film “Abu Saddam”, which marked his first leading role in a film.

It centered around a 40-year-old experienced truck driver Abu Saddam (Mamdouh) getting a transportation mission on the North Coast road after he stopped working for years, who is unemployed due to his severe temperament.

He decides that he wants to complete his mission perfectly to complement his working reputation but he faces a small situation on the road and things get out of control.

The film also starred Sayed Ragab and Ahmed Dash. It was scripted by Mahmoud Ezzat and directed by Nadine Khan.

“Abu Saddam” received its world premiere at the 43rd edition of the Cairo International Film Festival, which took place in November 2021 and earned Mamdouh the Best Actor Award for his performance.
