Egyptian actor Mohamed Mamdouh and Saudi Arabian singer-actress Aseel Omran are set to star the film "Dhy".
The cast is led by newbie teenage actor Badr Mohamed, who was chosen from tests that included more than 100 new faces.
Sudanese actress Islam Mubarak, and Egyptian actress Haneen Saeed.
Karim El Shenawy directs the pic from a script Haitham Dabbour. It is co-produced by Blue Print, Synergy, Film Square, Misr International Films, Red Star, CineWaves, and Orient Productions.
The film took about 4 years to prepare and shoot and was filmed in about 50 different locations in the governorates of Egypt.

Mamdouh will be seen next in the star-studded film "My Wife's Ex" (Merati's Ex).
The cast also stars Hesham Maged, Amina Khalil, Moustafa Ghareeb, and more. Moataz El Tony directs the project from a script by Karim Samy and Ahmed Abdel Wahab.
"My Wife's Ex" is set to debut in theatres on July 24.
Mamdouh and Khalil recently reunited on the crime romance film “Shaqo".
The cast also includes Amr Youssef, Yousra, Dina El Sherbiny, Abbas Abul-Hassan, Mohamed Gomaa, Walid Fawaz, and more.

Maged was last seen in the comedy film "Fasel Mn Al Lahzat El Laziza", featuring Hannah El Zahed.

The film, produced by Ahmed El-Sobky, revolves around a married couple who live an unhappy life, but an unusual accident turns their lives upside down.
