Mohamed Henedy to Star in New Film

Renowned actor, Mohamed Henedy is preparing to star in a new film with director Islam Khairy.

It is written by Omar Taher and produced by Walid Sabry.

On the other hand, Henedy’s latest film “Al Ens w el Nems” is expected to be screened in the cinemas in early 2021.

It also stars Menna Shalaby, Amr Abdel Gelil, Sabrien, Bayoumi Fouad, Mahmoud Hafez, and others.

“Al Ens w el Nems” is written by Kareem Hassan Beshir and directed by Sherif Arafa.

The film witnesses the first collaboration between Shalaby and Henedy. It also marks the second collaboration between the actor and Arafa. They worked together for the first time in the 2004 film “Fool el Seen el Azeem”.

It is worth mentioning that Henedy, born in February 1965 in the district of Giza, earned his bachelor’s degree from the Cinema Institute in 1991.

He began his career acting in play “Doctor Za’attar” and in the television series “A’la Asl Dawar,” “Al A’rdahalgy”, and “Al Bakheel wa Ana”.

Henedy is known for his roles in plays “ALabanda”, “Hazimny Ya”, and “Al Mahzala Al Ardiyah.”.

Moreover, he succeeded in demonstrating his comedic talent through a minor role in film “Bakheet wa A’deela.”

Henedy was able to redefine the landscape of Egyptian cinema towards the end of the ‘90s and was soon afterward recognized as a major star with high grossing movies.

He also co-starred in several theatrical comedy plays on the private sector theatre stage with a large number of his generation, such as Ahmed El Sakka, Hany Ramzy, Sherif Mounir, Mona Zaki, Ghada Adel, and Yasmine Abdelaziz.

The actor is one of the most prominent stars of in Egypt and the Middle East as he had in the last 20 years, during which he made many successful films including, “Ismailia Rayeh Gay”, “Sa’eedi in the American University”, “Hamam fi Amsterdam”, “Gana El Bian El Taly”, “Askar fi el-muaskar”, “Fool el Seen el Azeem”, “Wesh Egram”, “Ramadan Mabrouk Abul-Alamein Hamouda”, and others.
