Fortnite is taking its virtual concert stage global with its new concert series, Soundwave.

Egyptian superstar Mohamed Hamaki is set to kick off the first show of the Fortnite Soundwave Series, on October 1.

Hamaki will be the first Arab artist to have his songs and concerts featured in Fortnite.

He promoted Tuesday the performance on Instagram, saying: "Excited to kick off the @fortnite Soundwave Series on October 1 at 8 pm EET. Catch the first performance of my new song “Leilt El Omr!”.

The concert series will also be headlined by Australian singer-songwriter Tones And I, Brazilian rapper Emicida, Japanese pop artist and music producer Gen Hoshino, and record-breaking French-Malian singer Aya Nakamura.

Each show will take place in its own interactive experience in-game.

The players can participate in the event by entering the "Hamaki's Musical Show", which is made by community creators Team Alliance and TheBoyDilly.

They also can view the show in Battle Royale playlists via Picture-in-Picture, available during certain times of the event and accessible through the settings.

Hamaki's show is scheduled to begin at 2 PM ET and will repeat non-stop for 48 hours, until Sunday, October 3 at 2 PM ET.

"Leilt Elomr" will be available in the Item Shop starting Thursday, September 30, at 8 PM ET.
