Mohamed Hamaki to Drop New Album "Ya Fatenny" on Oct. 6

Egyptian superstar, Mohamed Hamaki announced Thursday on Instagram the release date of his new album "Ya Fatenny".

Hamaki revealed that the album will arrive on October 6.

The 45-year-old star had recently released a number of songs from “Ya Fatenny”, including “Ard Mostamer”, “Talea Mooda”, “Tak”, “Law Hatsib”, and “Zayaha Meen”.

“Ya Fatenny is produced by Hamaki’s new company Ki Records and consists of 12 songs.

In the new album, the singer cooperates with a large number of poets and composers including, Ayman Bahgat Kamar, Amir Teima, and Amr Mostafa.

In a new interview, Hamaki shared that he is currently working on a new film, which is scheduled to begin production at the end of this year after he is done with his new album “Ya Fatenny”.

He added that he wished to present a good project, noting: “I do not want to appear in the usual way, in a story center around the rise of a singer into fame, nor do I want to use cinema for singing purposes."
