Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar on Wednesday issued a decision to renew the appointment of Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Nasser Al-Tayyeb Nasser as assistant Minister for technical affairs.
It is worth mentioning that El-Tayyeb obtained a Ph.D. in Dental treatment (root canal treatment) at the Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University.
He also held several positions, including: Executive Director of the Global Forum for Higher Education and Scientific Research, Secretary of the Committee formed at the Ministry for Development of Infrastructure in Egyptian universities and Acting Secretary General of the Council of Foreign Universities' Affairs.
Al-Tayyeb also served as a member of several technical committees, including the Ministry’s Higher Committee for National Projects, the Committee for Technical Education and Vocational Training and the Joint Organizing Committee between the Ministry of Higher Education and the UNESCO Office for Science in the Arab States and the African Union (AU).
Assistant Minister of Higher Education also participated in several international conferences, workshops about higher education and scientific research.
