The Croatian star Luka Modrić has arrived in Milan, ahead of signing his official contract with AC Milan, following the end of his historic journey with Spanish giants Real Madrid.
According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, Modrić will undergo a medical examination in the coming hours before the official announcement of his move to the Rossoneri. The deal will run until the end of the 2025-2026 season, with an option to extend for an additional year.
Last week, AC Milan Massimiliano Allegri confirmed that Real Madrid icon Luka Modrić will move to AC Milan after the FIFA Club World Cup.
“We expect Luka to join us in August”, Allegri says.
In May, Real Madrid decided not to extend the contract with club legend. The Croatian, who joined the "Blancos" in 2012, will leave the team after the Club World Cup.
