Barcelona midfielder Luka Modric has nominated the Liverpool star Mohamed Salah among his foir-man shortlist for scooping Ballon d'Or Award.
France Football revealed on Monday the 30-man shortlist for the 2019 Ballon d’Or award, which witnessed the presence of Mo Salah, alongside Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk.
The winner of this accolade prize will be announced in Paris on December 2, but first, the list will be condensed to a shortlist of nominees.
"The competition between the thirty players would be very hard. But for me, I would nominate four names to scoop this prestigious prize; Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Virgil van Dijk, and Mohamed Salah," Modric said.
Noteworthy, Modric won the 2018 prestigious award, ending seven years of dominance by Ronaldo and Messi.

Salah showed up in the Reds‘ training session ahead of the Uefa Champions League encounter against K.R.C. Genk after being totally recovered.
